I have not used this blog to write much about my paid work, just because it is not anything that usually brings excitement or a feeling of accomplishment to anyone but me. Today though, I felt that I should bring up some stuff.
The magazine for which I work, has deleted the position that I was doing, at least for the timebeing. Now I might have been disappointed, except that out of the three of us doing the job, I was retained to start a different project. Now I don't want to go into any specifics about any of it, just to keep from boring you, but I felt that said a lot about how they value the work that I have done for them over the past few years. I could have just been let go along or in place of either of the other ladies that did the same job, yet I wasn't. Why? I don't know except that it shows that good work pays off.

Hi Meagan, I think this is the first time I'm leaving a message on your blog. But I do try to keep up with it. Anyhoo, I didn't know that you worked for a magazine. You sure do have a lot going on. That's really fantastic news about being put on another project! I can imagine that it feels pretty darn good to have people appreciate your hard work.
that's so great meagan :) it probably makes you feel better about all those nights and saturdays you spent keeping up with the work. good luck with the new position!
I didn't know you worked for a magazine either! I am glad that you were appreciated and still have another project. I hope it all works out for the best.
Congratulations on your new position. All that hard work and persistance paid off. I am proud of you and that magazine is lucky to have you.
