Fishing, and the Potty

So yesterday we went fishing. Unfortunately we forgot the camera, So there are no fishing pictures to show. If I had thought about it, I could at least have taken a picture of the boat as it was in our front driveway for it's after fishing cleaning session, but well, I didn't think about that much either. Even though there are no pictures to show for it, Savannah had a blast. She is too little to understand the conept of fishing though, as demonstrated by the fact that she kept taking the fishing pole and trying to touch the bottom of the Intercoastal Waterway, where we were fishing. The rest of the time she spent hitting us with the poles, throwing bobbers around the boat (or into the water to make mom and dad fish them out) and eating pretzels. Oh, and taking her swimsuit on and off since luckily we remembered to take Savannah's "little potty" as she calls it.

Yup, we are in the middle of potty training officially. I was going to hold it off till after Zoe was born so that we didn't have so much going on, but Savannah really wanted to be like all her other friends. So for now we carry the "little potty" around with us wherever we go, and the potty seat for the big potty stays at home. So far we are doing pretty good with it and only have a couple accidents a day. That is pretty good when it is just the first week of really trying.

Oh and Happy Memorial Day. I hope you have a good one and that you didn't have to work.
