Grandma Yaya, my mother's mother, passed away this morning after several years of fighting Alzheimer's disease. She was the last of the grandparents on my side of the family tree, and will be missed. She leaves behind two daughters and their husbands, 4 grandchildren and their wives/husbands, and 5 great-grandchildren. May she finally be at peace.
