Well Faye has officially moved on, according to the weather reporters, though it is still just as wet and rainy as it has been. Judging by looking out the window, fay could still have been here and I wouldn't have known otherwise. I guess since the wind died down some, the meteorologist can officially say it has past us.
We had no property damage. No trees fell in our yard (which is good since we live in a PUD development and all trees are only 5 feet tall). Nothing blew away that we know of, except maybe a newspaper page out of the recycling bin, if that even. Mike had everything pretty well anchored down for the amount of wind and rain that was predicted, which was more than we actually received.
Instead it all the major issues were an hour and a half south of us, near Titusville and Melbourne. Both of those places received about two feet of rain, more than some major cities receive in a year. Needless to say, since we are FL, we probably fared better than some other would (since our sandy soil drains so well) but flooding still was a major issue. I feel for Leah and Company, hope they didn't get flooded out of house and home, and that everything stayed somewhat dry.
