There are times when it just is God's timing for things.....
Take the homeschooling stuff that I have been wanting to start with Savannah. I had been looking for lesson plans and help with planning activities for her age (most were for older children that I had found previously.) Well, it just so happened that a little while ago.... yes it took me this long to really get around to looking at the site) Johanna over at the Jo's Know posted about a website called Hubbard's Cupboard. Wow, what a cool site.
So now I am planning out activities for Savannah for the days she isn't at school.... and it works beautifully cause there is 3 day of lessons at the website and two days of school.... There you go.
So, Thank you Johanna!
Now if only I can convince my Library that they should carry the books the program uses.... and the ink in the printer to go farther..... hehehe

Yeah!! I love it, too! I actually bought quite a few of the books - mostly used - from amazon. Our library totally stinks... But the program there is so right on, and Ethan loves it so much, that the ink and money for the extra books seems worth it.
I also am substituting a lot of books for ones on similar topics. On my library's online catalog, I search for the title, but if they don't have it, I do a subject search, and reserve something they have on the same topic.
yeah, i think the same thing here.... there's a couple of weeks where the library doesn't have anything, and so we will probably just do the activities and not the books.
