Happy Birthday Uncle Clyde!

Uncle Clyde had a birthday while we were up in Minnesota visiting. Savannah and I made cupcakes earlier in the day, and in the afternoon the whole family came over to Uncle Clyde's house for sausages on the grill.... You may notice a lot of these pictures are of cooking in the kitchen.... Its a very common gathering place.... though most of the people aren't cooking....

Here is the cupcake plate. We didn't have a birthday candle so we used a tea candle in the middle of the plate surrounded by cupcakes. It actually worked really well, I thought.... maybe even better than those small- little- hard- to sometimes- light- without- getting- wax- all- over- the- place candles that you usually have at birthday parties.....
