Our first week of Homeschool

On Monday we did playdoh apples with cookie cutters and counted them onto our tree...

and then onto a blob of playdoh.

After that, we painted with the cookie cutter onto our A paper of the week. It turned out really cute and easy though kinda messy.

On Tuesday at Mother's Morning Out (School) they talked about airplanes and apple trees...

Wednesday we did watercolor apples, though they turned out to be rather abstract. That one we really didn't have much plan for, we kind of just introduced water color in general.

On Thursday at school there were marching ants, glued A's and some paint and glitter A's (not shown)...

Then Friday we finished up the week with apple painting. We cut the apple in half and then I made kind of like a handle out of half and we used that as a stamp. We still have the apple seeds to glue on, but I think we will kind of finish the week up Monday.... Uh oh, week one and we are already behind! lol.

But it worked. You ask Savannah what Apple starts with and she answers A...and then ask her what sound it makes and she gets it. I think though I am going to try and condense the program we are using down to two days a week and skip some of the activities cause she isn't ready for such a full schedule of activities.... and I don't get enough laundry and house stuff done.
