First Day of VPK

Savannah started Voluntary Pre Kindergarten this past week. Mike remembered to take a picture of her on her first day, standing outside the school. Yes, I will admit I intentionally made him take her for her first day as I wasn't sure I could make it without crying. I can't say the day ran real smooth, but she had fun, we weren't in a hurry to get out of school (which was good cause it was a traffic jam) and she likes being "in school"

Her teachers names are Ms Ashley and Ms Kristen. Both of the teachers you can tell have never had kids cause they just are not very authoritative and have NOT mastered the mom evil eye. Luckily for me, Savannah okay with that- she tends to see suggestions as good ideas. She also doesn't like the idea of getting in trouble at all!

She isn't wearing her glasses here, but she has some cool new glasses for school.... We picked them up Monday night, and I already am taking them in to get fixed. Just this afternoon (Friday) Savannah left them on the floor somewhere and the dog chewed on them.... Guess it is a good thing that the frames are replaced free for up to one year! Looks like we will be getting our use out of that guarantee.
