We spent a good part of the day working in the yard. We bought several different bushes- jasmines to name one- and started trying to increase the planter around the front tree in order to decrease the amount of grass that the association can annoy us about. Every year at this time we get the annoying letter as the grass gets attacked by bugs at this time of year. Anyways, I am thankful that my husband is a hands on kind of guy, one that when the shovel breaks the main water pipe into the house, not only does he know how to turn off the main water, he knows how to cut the broken pipe out, find the fix at Lowes and put it all back together with as little inconvenience as possible. For that I am very thankful.
