Most of us tend to think of the story of Jonah and move right into the whale, without seeing Jonah for who he was or even more important God and who He is.
If you ever get the opportunity to, Do the Jonah, a Life Interrupted study by Priscilla Schirer. We just started it through our Wednesday night woman's bible study at our church and it is amazing. It challenges Christians to think beyond the interruptions and to see them not as an annoyance but an opportunity to see God work in your own life and those people around you.
This bible study session I also get the opportunity to lead the group. Some are non-believers searching for Christ, many are first timers to bible study groups, and some are on the 20th (ish)study.... but in Christ we are all equal. To be given the opportunity to watch each person grow during the study is amazing.
