Anyways, here is our cucumbers:
See, no uniform. Just a random scattering of plantings.
Our Apple tree:
Our first year. If you look closely you'll notice that the leaves are turning yellow prematurely for the year. Well, we found out today that apple trees need good drainage. So, we just had to dig the tree up today and lift it about 6 to 8 inches to try and get it out of the realy wet dirt. Hopefully we helped save it.
Our future expansion plans:
This is along the side of the garage. (The window is Savannah's room so we are thinking thorn bushes for under her window.) We are still laying the block for the edging, then we have to put the fabric down and fill in with planting soil.
Our Tangelo tree:
A Tangelo tree is a Tangerine tree crossed with another citrus. They are really good. This year we are going to get one fruit off this tree, but being that its it's first year, I think that is pretty good. Besides, we think the birds plucked off the majority of the fruit as it was first ripening. A bird has got to eat right?
The pictures of the bird and the babies that were in the nest were on our old camera that we lost. Oh well.
Tata for today.
