Bags... um no.

So the bags over the sunflower heads didn't work so well... Too much moisture was staying in. So alas, I chopped off the heads, put them in paper sacks and sent them to the garage. We shall see.

The green beans are making a comeback. There are new leaves forming and budding out, so at least now they look like plants. Maybe there is hope for them as the weather is starting to cool off. There is at least another two months before we get a freeze so maybe we will get some beans.
