Last Saturday

So last Saturday, one of my favorite people came to visit. LEAH!!!! It was exciting! Savannah took a little while to warm up cause it had been a little while since Leah had seen Savannah but in no time, Savannah had her reading books... "reread, reread. Again." Poor Leah, she probably read the same book twenty times.

Leah and I then escaped to Target and left Savannah with Dad. While we were gone, Savannah took advantage of a dozing dad to clean out mommy's kitchen drawer. One by one, Savannah brought various items to daddy and placing them on his belly. First a wooden spoon, then a 1 cup measuring cup, then 2/3 a cup, 1/2 a cup, 1/4 of a cup.... another wooden spoon... then Ack! a knife! A 1.5 inch wide 8 inch long knife (just guessing I never measured). Hmm, guess we need to child proof that drawer now too. It was quite an abrupt wake up call though. Nothing like a knife to get the adrenaline going.
