We took Savannah to the eye doctor on Friday. It was recommended that we take her to get the pressure of her eyes checked as a precautionary against Childhood glaucoma. Well, the doctor said that they can not check the pressure in a child so young without sedatives, but they can determine if it is necessary to look into it further by examining other signs in the eye. Well apparently there are like nine different things that they can look at and she failed too many of the tests to rule out high pressure. So this coming Thursday she has to be sedated to let them check the eye pressure. The doc also noted that the left cornea? was cloudy and that there might be a necessity to treat that as well. It could be caused by the high pressure, he couldn't say for sure until Thursday. Sounds like best case scenario is that there is really nothing wrong, and worst case could lead to an eye surgery, with everything else in between. Mike and I will keep you updated. There will be no more news till Thursday afternoon I think.
