Catching up, Savannah's Eyes

We had a pressure check in the very beginning of January. The tests came back that the right eye, or the strong eye was great, and the left eye, the weaker one, was a little high again. This is the eye that has be operated on twice, which means there is no other options for the doc that we have been working with at Nemours. Instead, we will have to start working with a Glaucoma specialist, rather than a pediatric opthamologist. Until the insurance stuff gets worked out more, we really will not be doing much of anything. Mainly because the next step is to consider having an artificial drain implanted to help increase the fluid drainage and at this point, we will probably wait some till the insurance approves it. The pressure is not in a dangerous level at this time, but is at the high end of normal, a sign that the implant could become necesary with the next few years.
