We had planted several other things this last year. We already harvested the sunflowers earlier in the year, and other than that, we lost everything else.
The beans were a delectable treat for the catapillars, who ate all but one, and then that one died while still pretty small.
The Cucumbers were lost pretty much along side the beans, but then one plant did start to produce a cucumber, but the freeze killed it off and made the one cucumber sort of cave in and rot inside.
So, those were kind of disappointing, but fear not, for there is another year comming. In fact we get to plant the new seeds at the end of the month! Yup, statistically the last freeze here is usually at the end of January so hopefully we can get the new seeds in the ground really soon! I am excited!!!
For those of you out there with no place to plant... I encourage you to do carrots. They are easy, make great green foliage and all you would have to do is water. Then, pull them and wash. It's a great container Science growing thing. THink about it Joanna!
