We pulled some of the Carrots out of the garden this past weekend cause the tops were getting so big that they looked like they were starting to wilt, though it turned out to just be the weight of the leaves. In fact, we let some of the carrots grow too long and get way too big. I think we can still cut them up and stew them, but I don't really like stewed meat and vegetables so maybe we will just have to donate them to a neighbor or something.
Mike got a kick out of watching me wash them. I dumped them all into the bathtub, which was probably not the smartest thing to do. We just always seem to have no big buckets available (They are always filled with junk or buried to deep to use) so the bath tub was the next best thing. My little helper was taking the carrots from the tub and putting them in the bowl, except for this really big one that she had to walk to the kitchen to hand to daddy cause it just didn't fit.
Yup I think that was one of the carrots that we let grow too long.
