So after our Christmas morning here in St Augustine, we drove to Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate Christmas with them. After a late arrival and a late Christmas lunch, we had to make the decision that the kids needed naps before anything else, so nap time it was. Then as we sat down to attempt present openings, we were delayed yet again, but in a very good way, by Randall and Takako calling to wish us a merry Christmas. In the end we did get to open the gifts and it turned out to be a very nice Christmas. Mike, Jay, Carolyn, Faith, and I all took turns helping to blow up this big jump house for the kids using a little tiny bicycle pump. Needless to say it took a really long time and several sore muscles for a few days following it. The other big hits were the toddler scooter, and the bike for Ella, though it turned out to be too big for her and instead Katie was using it most of the time. Oh well. That is just the way it goes.
