We are still watching the updates on Fay. She decided to come ashore today which is good news, as that means she probably will not continue to strengthen, though she has also stalled out right by Daytona Beach, which is about an hour south of us. So now we just sit here getting rain dumped on us, and waiting to see exactly how much rain is too much rain.
We did lose our power for a few hours earlier today from the gusty winds, but obviously it is back on now. Other than that we don't have any more damage to report right now.

I've been watching the news to see where Fay decided to hit, and have recognized several places like Flagler and Neptune Beaches that I know we have gone by when we have visited Florida. Glad to know that you are still doing OK. You're probably happy that you aren't closer to the ocean at this point! Hopefully the power will stay on, the AC and freezer will keep running, and you can ride out the tail end of the storm...
