I was tired of saying "this week" as it sounds so, boring..... but I did feel like I had some things that needed mentioning....
We had a very busy weekend last weekend. Needless to say it wore all of us down, physically as well as emotionally. Now don't get me wrong (especially you Leah) we had the best time at your wedding, it was an absolute blast, and I couldn't have asked for more fun. There were times though when it was rather hairy.... as in Mike and I were pulling our hair out trying to keep up with all the wedding scheduled events and the kids.....(a couple of times during the reception we were saved by the young lady Susan across the table from us and her husband Sanjay).
Monday we should have taken the chance to rest, but we couldn't cause we had to go to Palatka to have some testing for the public school system. The only day they could test here in St Augustine was on Tuesdays, which conflicted with her mother's morning out hours, so I opted to drive a little farther and go to Palatka.... (it is only an extra 15 minutes or so, when you don't get lost- hehehe.) Anyways, they did the academic stuff and she is on age level for knowing her letters and all the stuff they asked for. So that was good news..... I think.
Tuesday we finally did get a chance to rest, in part simply cause we woke up too sick to go to school or really anywhere else. Wednesday we acidently killed our tomato seedlings the night before so we stayed home but were very discouraged. I just felt like the hope of a good garden had went out the window. I had put the seedlings out to get some sun on Tuesday and after intending to bring them back in forgot, and we had a hard freeze.... Betweeen being so tired and sick, and then the tomato plants though, I just wanted to cry all day......
Thursday morning, we were all starting to feel better, so I dropped Savannah off at school and Zoe went to a church nursery area and I started the Esther Bible Study, new out from Beth Moore. We weren't even through the DVD part when Savannah's school asked me to pick her back up because she was acting really tired and congested.... So I picked up Savannah and we went and picked up Zoe..... and Zoe saw me and just started screaming bloody murder...... and didn't stop till we were in the car and she had her mommy milk and a long nap. Even then though she still seemed off kilter..... all the rest off the day. I am wondering if we have started the separation anxiety issues.....
Today (Friday) we went in to the park and returned a book at the library and went on a few horsey carousel rides..... then we went grocery shopping and came home for the afternoon.

You'll have to let me know how the Esther study is. I really want to do that one, too! Sorry that your week has been so rough. Here's wishing you and your family some good health!
I think it's great that Savannah is on target for knowing her letters, etc. Hope you guys get some rest but just have to ask - when are you coming over here?
well, when are we invited?
You don't really get an invitation - you just let us know what weekend might work for you! But this coming weekend I'll be in St. Aug and will have some stuff for you from Jo.
