Savannah's New School - Mill Creek Elementary
She starts Monday. The school day starts at 8:30, ends at 3ish, and is five days a week. I was worried about such an aggressive class schedule but basically she can come up to five days a week and stay as long as the school day goes. That means I can pick her up early if I want to or not have her go everyday.....
The school year ends in a month or two, and come fall I will have her there pretty much full time... for the rest of this year we are just going to take it a day or two at a time.... maybe we will have her go to the new school two or three days a week and the old school the two other days..... we will see.

Yay for MCE! And how nice that it's one close to you, instead of having to drive halfway across the county. :) I'm sure everything will work out exactly the way it should...God is taking good care of Savannah and has a special plan in place to make sure she gets everything she needs. What awesome news!
So glad the program is so close to you! What all went down at the IEP meeting? How'd you feel being at the other end of the spectrum? How did you feel about the others participating - that they were really looking out for Savannah or just trying to get the meeting over with? How does Savannah feel about her new school?
Yes thank God that it is so close. I get the feeling though that there is a class or two at most of the elementary schools.
