We didn't plant this...
It randomly started growing there thanks to a bird, near the corner of the house in the back yard. I knew it was lantana and it wasn't in the way so I told Mike not to pull it, or chemically wage warfare on it.... and it has just kept growing....and growing....
and it is covered with these beautiful flowers. A soon as we think the flowers are gone, another group blossoms.
And this is what we have gotten to see because of it. One afternoon we we able to observe about three butterflies on the lantana bush, which for Savannah to see something like that (small and fast) means the butterflies were sticking around for quite a while.
I just gotta say, God that is BEAUTIFUL!
