Jesus walks on water

For Jesus walks on water, try a sink or float experiment.  This works even with two year olds, if the container is clear and the children can sit on the floor while the bucket is on the table. 

Another option is to make prints in play dough.  Add play dough to a plastic bag and roll flat.  Press shapes into the play dough through the plastic bag and look at shapes made.  If children do enjoy the play dough, allow them to open the bag, or roll flat through bag again and do more prints.

For Craft, have the children recreate the scene on paper.  Using two sheets of blue construction paper, tear a dark blue sheet in half lengthwise and glue to a light blue sheet, creating the waves and sky.  Have children glue on a boat and add smiley faces for the disciples.  Add a Jesus figure walking on the water and a moon in the sky.
